Kpop Zombie Killers is a unique blend of top-down zombie survival and rhythm game mechanics, wrapped in a vibrant K-pop aesthetic.
Fight off waves of zombie fans during night phases, then switch gears to sign autographs during frantic daytime sessions, and prove your rhythm skills in musical performances!
What changed
This is a web version of the originally python based game. So it will play nicely in web browser (and seems actually to look better thanks to html being rendered better)
Core Gameplay Loop
Night Phase - Zombie Survival
- Face waves of increasingly difficult zombies in top-down shooter action
- Choose from 4 unique characters, each with special abilities:
- Yuna “Swift” - Balanced fighter with speed boost
- Hyejin “Blaze” - Heavy weapons specialist with AOE attack
- So-ri “Aegis” - Defensive tank with heal ability and a big shotgun
- Chaeyoung “Storm” - Rapid-fire expert with bullet storm and freez special
- 4 weapon types with unique characteristics and upgradeable stats
- Collect power-ups and boost cards to enhance your abilities
- Strategic combat with ammo management and reload mechanics
Day Phase - Autograph/Fan Rush
- Sign autographs for adoring fans in a frantic management challenge
- Avoid zombies or loose points
- Earn cash and fan points to unlock new content
Rhythm Game - Performance Time
- Perform mini-concerts between day and night
- Hit notes in rhythm with actual K-pop-inspired songs
- Music analysis generated note patterns from real song beats
- Different visual note types (beats vs. musical onsets)
Development Info
- AI-assisted assets - Generated graphics and music, then refined and integrated, I’m a solo coder, so I don’t do “arty” stuff. If this is a letdown for you, I’m truly sorry, and I know there are other great non-AI helped games.
PS. While AI tools helped generate the visual style and music, every asset has been carefully selected by myself, edited, and integrated to create a cohesive experience. It wasn’t just prompt and paste. The game’s personality comes from how these elements work together with the gameplay systems.

- Balance improvements based on player feedback
